As you leave the hotel, take rue de la Gaîté towards boulevard Edgar-Quinet and go inside Montparnasse Cemetery. Here, you will find the graves of Serge Gainsbourg, Charles Baudelaire, Guy de Maupassant, Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre as well as works of art like Brancusi's The Kiss that sits on top of the tomb of the sculptor.

Next head up boulevard Raspail and take a look at the glass building that houses the Fondation Cartier for contemporary art. Continue onto place Denfert-Rochereau with its famous Lion. Next take avenue Général-Leclerc to metro station Alésia. There, turn onto rue Alésia and take a right onto avenue René-Coty towards Parc Montsouris. Enjoy a stroll along its paths.
